We are always humbled by the generous hearts of the friends of HESC that are so open to giving. Without the help of every person, school or company, we would not be able to do what we do. Thank you to each and everyone of you!

Our friends at African Synergy put together a magnificent Halloween-themed fundraiser for HESC, and it was a huge success! An amazing R155,000.00 was raised for the Rescued Rhinos @ HESC. Click here to read more about this event.

Hurleyvale Primary School

Members of the Hurleyvale Primary School community collected and donated ProNutro boxes to feed our orphaned rhino, Lula. Together, they managed to collect a total of 25 boxes!

HESC was invited to make a presentation for Steinbuild’s Leadership Development Program and following this, we were chosen as the recipients of a donation.

Raising Rhinos – Phoebee and Baylee Roberts

Phoebee and Baylee Roberts have done it again! These two junior heroes have raised another R927.00 by selling cupcakes, cookies and awesome hand-made rhino teddy bears at various markets in Gauteng.

Well done girls! We are very proud of you and grateful for your constant support.

AM Group

Special thanks to the AM Group for the generous donation made towards equipment for the anti-poaching unit at the HESC.

Mike & Vera Herd

HESC recently received much-needed items donated by Mike and Vera Herd through the Pack for A Purpose initiative. These donated items have an enormous impact on the centre’s ability to contribute towards the needs of surrounding communities, which are part of our very own community involvement initiatives.  Some of the items included medical supplies, stationary and art materials.

Wildlife Conservation Trust

The Wildlife Conservation Trust (WCT) recently donated bibles to the Grade 7 students and teachers at Lumukisa Primary School.

Stafford Bros & Draeger (Pty) Ltd

Stafford Bros & Draeger donated more Country Pasture milk to HESC. Thank you!

Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge

On Sunday, 19th of November 2017 the annual Telkom 947 Cycle Challenge was held in Johannesburg and a group of 111 cyclists participated on behalf of HESC to raise funds for the Rescued Rhinos @ HESC. An amazing ZAR71, 000.00 was raised for the centre!

Augustine Medical South Africa

Mark Minter and Linda Lombard from Augustine Medical South Africa came in to service our 3M Bair Hugger (a machine which helps raise the body temperature of an animal) which was donated to the centre. Not only did they service our machine for us, they donated a few medical supplies for our animal hospital which we are very grateful for.

Online donations

Special thanks to all our supporters who continue to make donations via our online portal and PayPal.
