Caracal released at the HESC, November 2012 On Sunday the 11th of November 2012, the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre released a male caracal onto Camp Jabulani‘s property on the Greater Kapama Game Reserve. At the beginning of December last year HESC received a phone call from a farmer who was experiencing problems with a Red caracal on his livestock farm.
