New information centre operates from HESC premises

The Greater Kruger Information Centre, a new initiative to provide tourist information on the area, was launched last week at HESC. The centre is located on the premises of and at the entrance to HESC.

Developed as a partnership of tourism focused organisations in the area, the information centre is aimed at promoting the tourism potential of the Greater Kruger area to tourists and business travellers. The centre will be open seven days a week.

Their hard work paid off and the Centre promises to be a great source of information for visitors to the region.

Brochures and maps will be available on site to help navigate the area, plan customised itineraries, find restaurants and accommodation and discover the many exciting attractions of the area.

Product owners and service operators have the opportunity to display their
marketing material at the Information Centre.

The information centre will significantly contribute to creating an awareness of the many facilities and attractions available in the Greater Kruger area and provide product owners and tour operators with a venue to display their marketing material.

Some 80 members of the local tourism industry and other interested parties, together with owner and founder of HESC Lente Roode, attended the launch.
