An update on Zee and Bullet, our anti-poaching canines

Zee and Bullet - Anti poaching dogs at HESC
Our older anti-poaching dog, Zee, has fully adjusted to her new environment. She is very calm and extremely confident with all the new sounds, sights and smells of HESC. It took almost no time for her to become a fully integrated member of our family.
Our young Bullet is a real clown. He has quite a sense of humour, and everything to him is a game. But make no mistake – he is a very intelligent dog.

Zee, our super girl, is an awesome tracker, a skill that young Bullet is fast catching up on as he’s become good with short tracks. Just like his older companion, Bullet is turning into an obedient listener and can already sit and lie down on command.
Like all the animals at the centre, their health is of the utmost importance to us, and we always ensure that they get the very best care, exercise and training possible.

These two are also typical dogs, and like to have fun. They play with and chase each other, and seem to enjoy the game of ‘tug-of-war’ the most.
Both hounds have already very firmly crept into all of our hearts…

Nothing like a dog. Well except, perhaps, for two dogs. Especially when they have such great personalities and are united in a goal to help protect their animal friends. I am so proud of them and wish them only the best. Thanks to Zee and Bullet for their service.
