The Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre bids farewell to one of its finest staff members, Ilana Mahoney. Four years ago this spirited woman from Port Elizabeth walked into the Centre with a lot of passion in her heart. She started off as a tour guide and was later promoted to Administration Manager at HESC. We will forever be grateful for the impact that she had at our Centre, and the hard work and long hours that she put in during her time here!

Now she is leaving us to expand her horizons by becoming Assistant Manager at Thornhill private game reserve.

Good luck on your new journey Ilana and thank you for all that you have done for us at HESC. Your smile and laughter will be missed in the office!
