Roland van der Walt (director of Instacom) and his family recently spent a weekend at Khula’s Cottage. During their stay, they donated technology to improve security measures for our anti-poaching unit.
Head of the anti-poaching unit, Albe Nel, was present to receive this security system comprising Ruggear Supreme – RG930. This is a waterproof rugged mobile phone that is also dustproof. The mobile device has numerous features, including:
- Push to talk
- Instant Message
- Push to Locate
- Alert/ SOS Button
- Push to Patrol and workflow
- PC Dispatcher from the control room
“We firmly believe that mission-critical communication systems must be secure, reliable and designed for urgent response situations. No longer can clients accept outdated, non-secure, non-reliable forms of communication, full of limitations”, said Roland.
We have full confidence that the system will improve the efficacy of our anti-poaching department.
Thank you Instacom for this generous donation! We – and the many animals in our care – are truly grateful.
