HESC Thank you – March 2017

We are unbelievably grateful to everyone that has supported us by making donations towards the animals at the centre. Your generosity is truly appreciated.

The Platter Project

Our friends from The Platter Project recently made another donation towards the animals at the centre.

Wendy Mitchell and her friends got together to raise funds for a meaningful gift (donation and platter in return) for their dear friend’s 50th birthday. Instead of giving a run-of-the-mill gift (and because of their friend’s love for elephants), they decided to make a donation on her behalf via #ThePlatterProject. The funds will be used for the care of little Shawu, the orphaned elephant at HESC.

A generous donation of $885 (ZAR11 403.49) was made in return for a beautiful Tusker platter [Photo credit: Mark Drury].

Christine Gordon
A BIG thank you to Christine Gordon for her generous monetary donation towards the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre.

Words alone cannot express our heartfelt gratitude to Christine for her generosity and willingness in assisting the animals at the HESC. We are extremely grateful for the support!
