In December 2017, little Mopane, an orphaned elephant arrived at HESC in bad shape, and weighing in at only 78kg. 
This tough little guy has really come a long way, and as we stand he is now weighing 135kg, just 5 months later.
We thought we would create this dedicated blog, which we will update monthly, tracking his weigh-in’s in one place, with a couple of photo’s highlighting how he grows in that time too.
