We are so grateful to the individuals and companies who are always prepared to extend a helping hand to us. It is only with your continued support that we can proudly soldier on in our conservation efforts. Our heartfelt thanks goes to the individuals and organisations below that assisted us as the year began.

Hurleyvale Primary School

Hurleyvale Primary School has been one of our most generous and loyal supporters. The school raised and donated a whopping R20 000 to the Rescued Rhinos @ HESC!

Lumukisa Primary School – Back to school hand over

During 2016, HESC adopted Lumukisa Primary School, in Acornhoek, Mpumalanga, South Africa. The school supports 920 learners and 19 teachers. As part of the partnership, we try to assist the school with much-needed items from their wish list.

At the beginning of the new school term, our HESC team visited Lumukisa Primary School to hand over a variety of items and equipment to the school. These included stationary, clothing, musical instruments, books and more.

Wildlife Conservation Trust, Books Galore Sunninghill, Doreen Higgs, Kerry and Sue from Monte Vista, and Paulshoff Educare Centre all made it possible for us to be able to make the contribution to the school.

Cipla (Pty) Ltd

Shawu, our orphaned elephant is doing well, and like any growing baby he consumes a lot of milk. Cipla (Pty) Ltd assisted us with feeding Shawu.
