Once again we are in awe about the support we’ve received from our supporters over the past month from. Our heartfelt and sincere thanks to each and everyone of you. Without the contributions from both businesses and individuals, we simply would not be able to do what we do. We would also like to take this opportunity to especially thank the following people and bodies for helping us during the month of October.
The Dischem Foundation – donated 30 bottles of Kiddivite syrup to the Rescued Rhinos @ HESC. We are humbled by their constant support and generosity.
Fight for Rhinos – our friends at Fight for Rhinos have been running a campaign to raise funds for our anti-poaching efforts at the centre and successfully raise a whopping ZAR80 000.
The funds will go towards the care and training of our anti-poaching canines, both for the protection of the rhinos and rangers.
Nathan Winter – Our friend from England, Nathan Winter, participated in the 100km leg of the South Coast Challenge to raise funds for HESC. We are proud of Nathan for completing this challenge in 19 hours and 21 minutes, finishing 106th out of the 2000 participants. Nathan managed to raise ZAR39 000!
Gielie Nienaber – donated much-needed goods to the centre, including items for our anti-poaching dogs, towels, a laptop, an egg incubator and cleanings cloths.
Pack for a Purpose – donated some important items that will enable us to make a meaningful contribution in our surrounding communities as part of our community involvement initiatives.
ROGZ – donated dog beds, toys, collars, 15-metre tracking line, body harnesses, as well as water and food bowls for our anti-poaching canines.
Online donations – we cannot forget our friends who continue to make donations via our online portal and PayPal. If you are able to assist us, please follow these links.
